Kamea's favorite part of her creative endeavors is storytelling. She loves capturing her subjects with a collaborative vision of how she sees them, and how they see themselves. She has spent her final year in college at Point Park University honing her craft in photography, academically. Graduated in April 2025, Kamea earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts with focuses in dance and communications.
Originally from Aberdeen, Maryland, Kamea Wilson is a creative fueled by the world she lives in, the world she doesn't, the Creator over all of it, and returning the learned information, visually. Spirits of curiosity and investigation is one of the driving forces of her work. She has created many pieces including, dance portraits, headshots, creative portraits, self portraits, graduate photography, and everything in between.
In terms of art consumption, Kamea's vision is most inspired by the surrealism of fantasies & fairytales, the timelessness of a coming of age story, the kind of drama that is native to a theatre and every kind of laughter, smile, and tear in the midst.
